Hisham Nasr, Vice Chairman of Zamalek Club's Board of Directors, responded to reports of favoritism toward the White Castle in the file for obtaining the African license.
Zamalek Club announced moments ago that it has obtained the African license to participate in the African Champions League next season.
Nasr said in statements to the "Zamlkawy" app: "We successfully obtained the African license, and this came after great effort from the board of directors, and all the required files were handled professionally until all conditions were met."

He continued: "I praise the great role played by Hussein Al-Sayed and Amr Adham, as they exerted great effort in inventorying all cases and paying local debts, and they played a pivotal role in concluding this file in the required manner."
He added: "The Football Association and the Licensing Committee were extremely strict in their scrutiny, and there was full application of the regulations and law without any favoritism, which made us pay attention to all details related to the debts."
He continued: "The club noticed the existence of a number of local cases, about four cases, and I must praise the role played by both Hussein Al-Sayed and Amr Adham, because they confirmed there were no other debts, and we were able to resolve all these cases and pay their dues in full, which contributed to meeting all the requirements of the African license."
He concluded: "I confirm that Zamalek Club was not shown any favoritism in anything related to the African license, and all procedures were carried out in accordance with the regulations, and after the club met all the required conditions, we obtained the license with full merit."
In a statement on his Facebook account, Hisham Nasr thanked businessmen and Zamalek Club fans for what they have provided to the White Castle in the recent period.
