According to AS newspaper, Paris Saint-Germain views Rodri as a golden opportunity in the transfer market, especially with only one season remaining on his contract with Manchester City.
The report indicated that the Parisian club considers the 30-year-old the ideal piece to bolster Luis Enrique's midfield, alongside the trio of Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz, and Joao Neves, after this line was one of the main reasons for the team's consecutive Champions League titles.
The report stated that Paris Saint-Germain is preparing its first offer to present to Manchester City to secure the services of the Spanish international.
The report clarified that Rodri has already rejected two contract extension offers from Manchester City and decided to postpone deciding his future until after the end of the World Cup.
It added that Rodri's World Cup victory and winning the best player award in the tournament have increased interest from major European clubs in signing him, led by Paris Saint-Germain.
